INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SCIENCE BELGRADE , ThesigninitsexpressionincorporatesthefactthattheInstituteiscomposedoffivecentersthatoperateinfivescientificdisciplines,separatedbydifferentcolors,symbolicallypresentedwithraystomakeasign.EachrayconsistsoffourtrianglesofthesamecolorjustdifferenttoneandsymbolizethefourtasksoftheInstituteproclaimedsinceitsinception,namely:1)basicresearchofsocialappearance,2)improvementofscientificthought,thedevelopmentofscientificmethodologyandcommunicationandpublicationofresultsofscientificresearch,3)trainingofscientificstaffinthefieldofsocialsciences,and4)developcooperationwithrelevantinstitutions,organizationsandindividualswhoareresearchingthenation.
Thelogotypeisblack,incapitallettersCallunaregularfontwhichserifsymbolizeScience,traditionandhistoryoftheInstitute,theoldestresearchinstitutionsintheregioninsocialscience.ThelogotypeiswritteninLatinscriptfortheinstitution’sinternationalityandaestheticallyidenticalusetheEnglishlanguage.
Therearealsologosforeachcenterseparately.Inthesignoftheselogosonlyoneraywhichsymbolizethecenterisinacolor,whiletheotherraysareingrayscale.InthelogoofeachCenteriskeptfulltextofnameoftheInstitute,andbeforehimthenameoftheCentreinacolorthatisassignforit.
